Dr. Sarah Brennan
Sarah completed her Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto, Ontario. She previously achieved a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology, from Saint Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. During her years in Toronto, Sarah worked a clinical rotation at a downtown inner city hospital. There, she had the opportunity to provide chiropractic treatment to patients suffering from chronic illnesses and high risk individuals from the local community. Following her placements in Toronto, she completed her clinical experience in Calgary and decided to make Alberta home.
Throughout her career, Sarah has worked with a variety of clients from babies to seniors, those healing after motor vehicle accidents, as well as those dealing with chronic pain. After becoming a mother, Sarah developed a special interest in working with women throughout all stages of motherhood, beginning in pregnancy and continuing with healing and rehab in the postpartum period. She uses a variety of gentle chiropractic techniques and exercises to help women achieve their optimal state of health.
Sarah has completed several continuing education courses including Webster technique promoting proper pelvic alignment in pregnant mothers, BirthFit certification, Breastfeeding support for postpartum women, as well as special training in chiropractic care for infants and kids.
Sarah originally hails from a small town in Nova Scotia and although she misses the ocean, she has come to appreciate all Alberta has to offer. When not at work, Sarah enjoys exploring Calgary and the mountains with her two young daughters and husband. To stay healthy, Sarah enjoys yoga and walks with the family dog, Walter.
