Beddington Chiropractic and Massage now offers custom orthotics! To continue meeting the needs of our community we are happy to introduce our custom orthotic program. Orthogenic Laboratories is a Canadian based company that provides the latest 3D foot scanning and local manufacturing technology.
Visit with one of our Chiropractors consisting of an evaluation of your hips, knees, ankles and feet to best determine what type of orthotic you need. Our Chiropractors use the 3D Occipital Scanner to scan the patient’s foot and create an orthotic that is custom. All of our orthotics are manufactured under the direct supervision of a Pedorthists and created specifically for the individual.
The orthoses are German engineered and Canadian made from EVA (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate). EVA is:
- Hypoallergenic
- Odour resistant
- Stress-crack resistant
- More comfortable compared to hard plastic
- Half the weight of plastic orthotics
- EVA provides impact absorption of up to 3X your body weight
- Encourages a more natural forefoot strike and more efficient push-off
The 3D Occipital Scanner is a technology approved by all insurance providers who cover Orthotics. At BCM we provide the patient with the required paperwork to submit their Orthotic claim to their insurance providers. The required paperwork includes a diagnosis, fee break down, and information about the casting technique and manufacturing technique. Payment in full is required at the time of order and a receipt will be provided. The turnaround time for orthotics is approximately 1 week.
